As part of the core creative team, I helped with the creative concept and thematic direction of the experience. I explored how magic could be translated spatially and emotionally, defining how visitors would feel at every stage of the journey.
I was involved in shaping the creative and narrative direction of Visions of Magic, contributing to how the Wizarding World would be revealed through space, pacing, and interaction.
For the Singapore edition, this extended to supporting the conceptual integration of new rooms, ensuring they felt like natural discoveries rather than additions. Each new environment was framed as another hidden corner of magic revealed only when the journey was ready for it.

At 12 Grimmauld Place, magic reveals itself through restraint. The house appears ordinary until it isn’t. Walls shift, details emerge, and the invisible becomes visible.
This room establishes the core philosophy of the experience: magic exists in the spaces we overlook waiting to be uncovered by those who know how to look.

Dimly lit and haunting, the Hall of Prophecy is a place of reflection.
Floating orbs and echoing voices suggest futures not yet written and destinies shaped by choice.
This room introduces a contemplative pause, grounding the journey in fate, possibility, and consequence.

Descend into ancient magic.
Hidden deep beneath Hogwarts, the Chamber of Secrets draws visitors into a place shaped by legend and fear.
Stone textures, serpentine forms, and echoing soundscapes create an atmosphere that feels old, powerful, and watchful.
Magic here is ancient heavy with history and consequence.

This space introduces a softer, more intimate form of magic.
Fantastic Beasts inhabit hidden habitats, revealed through gentle interaction and observation.
It reminds visitors that magic is not always dramatic sometimes it simply exists, unseen, coexisting with us.

ALLEY
Where magic slips into shadow.
Dark, narrow, and atmospheric, Knockturn Alley explores the Wizarding World’s edge where magic becomes dangerous, forbidden, and unsettling.
This environment introduces tension and contrast, deepening the emotional range of the experience and acknowledging that not all magic is light.

Each slide was designed to unfold like the experience itself — building intrigue, revealing intent, and demonstrating how magic would live within the space. This was especially critical in communicating how the additional rooms enhanced the overall journey, rather than simply extending it.

Being involved in multiple show openings, including the Resorts World Sentosa launch, allowed me to witness how ideas translated into lived experience, observing guest reactions, pacing, and emotional impact in real space.
It reinforced an essential truth: magic only works when every detail is intentional.
