For Singapore FinTech Festival's 10th anniversary, the brief was not to commemorate time, but to articulate progress.
This proposal reimagined SFF10 as an immersive walkthrough that translates ten years of innovation into a clear, emotionally resonant narrative: one that reflects the present, honours the past, and activates the future.
I was involved from concept ideation, shaping the creative framework, storytelling logic, visual direction and narrative flow that defined this experience.

Together, The Bloom Odyssey reframes Singapore FinTech Festival’s 10th Anniversary not as a retrospective milestone, but as an ongoing narrative of progress.

I translated this into a clear narrative and spatial framework, designing the experience as a journey rather than an exhibition.
The narrative arc was intentionally designed to reflect how innovation truly unfolds gradually, rhythmically, and through human participation. Rather than presenting a linear timeline, the experience guides visitors through a progressive sequence of understanding, allowing them to move from awareness to reflection, and finally to possibility.

THE SPACE
Beyond the physical walkthrough, the experience was designed to extend participation, dialogue, and memory beyond the moment of visitation. These interactive elements were not treated as add-ons, but as strategic touchpoints that deepened engagement and reinforced SFF’s role as a platform for collective voice and long-term impact.
Two key interactive layers were developed to support this intent: Real-Time Polling and the Time Capsule.
REAL-TIME
POLLING
The polling experience was designed to transform attendees from passive observers into active contributors.
Using the mobile app, visitors were invited to participate in curated questions around the present and future of FinTech, spanning innovation priorities, emerging challenges, and collective aspirations. Responses were aggregated and visualised live on a large-scale screen, creating a dynamic feedback loop between individual voices and the wider audience.
This real-time interaction served multiple purposes:

THE
TIME CAPSULE
The Time Capsule was introduced as a reflective counterpoint to the immediacy of polling responding directly to the client’s request for a meaningful anniversary gesture.
Rather than a symbolic artifact, the Time Capsule was designed as an experiential moment of intention. Visitors were invited to contribute messages, ideas, or aspirations capturing what FinTech represents today, and what they hope it will become in the years ahead.
This element anchored the anniversary in long-term thinking, reinforcing the idea that SFF is not just about annual moments, but about sustained progress across decades.
The Time Capsule created:

Development
Creative development was where the Bloom Odyssey found its form.
From pitch to execution, I shaped how the idea would be seen, felt, and remembered, guiding visuals to evolve in rhythm with the story. What began as a metaphor grew into an immersive language of light, motion, and space.
Each visual choice was intentional.
Each transition is meaningful.
The result was not a collection of visuals, but a living experience one that moved with the audience and bloomed into possibility.
